The Liturgical Institute announces an all-new one-day workshop unveiling the rich theology of the Easter Triduum, the apex of the Church’s liturgical year. Perfect for preachers, teachers, RCIA directors, liturgy directors, musicians, the lay faithful and all who desire to enter more deeply into the heart of the Paschal Mystery.

Friday, January 30, 2009
University of Saint Mary of the Lake, Conference Center
Mundelein, IL

Registration Fee - $65 (includes lunch)

Since the Church gives "proper" texts for nearly all of its liturgies to to enhance comprehension of the day’s readings and prayers, the workshop will use those prayers to unlock the theology of the Triduum liturgies. By recovering the use and meaning of these texts and their musical settings, the deep intellectual and emotional content of the Easter Triduum can be unlocked and made more fruitful for the faithful.

Participants will return to their parishes with theological knowledge, spiritual depth, and resources for music and liturgical practice. Participants will take home a packet of music and notes for use in their parishes.

For more information, please contact the Liturgical Institute at www.liturgicalinstitute.org or 847-837-4542.
